Methodology
Every data point comes from SORN AI's public AI visibility scan. When a visitor enters their domain at sorn.ai/ai-visibility-report, SORN runs a real scan that checks:
- AI engine presence — whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude mention the business across roughly 10 category-specific prompts.
- Crawlability signals — robots.txt AI crawler access (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Bingbot, and others), llms.txt, sitemap presence, SSL, and server reachability.
- Visibility score — a composite score (0–100) blending AI mention rate with crawlability penalties.
Results are deduplicated by domain, keeping only the most recent scan per domain. No personally identifiable information is included — no domains, emails, or IP addresses appear in these aggregates. The data refreshes every six hours.
A minimum sample size of 250 unique domains is required before any statistics are published. Below that threshold, this page shows a placeholder instead of numbers.
